Don't talk to the police. They are not your friends.
Do not explain yourself to police, an investigator, HR, or the other
person's friends. Not to clear it up, not informally, not at your own
door. Do not consent to anyone searching or taking your phone
or computer. Say you want your lawyer.

Get a lawyer. Today. What you save now is what they
have to work with. Records about your own life can be overwritten
quickly, and a lawyer can send a preservation request before that
happens.

Write down what you remember ONCE, as soon as possible, and
then never improve it. A note that gets tidied, expanded or
corrected later is worth far less than a rough one written
immediately, and the edits themselves become a problem.
And do not delete or cancel anything, whatever it is. Preserve, do not
purge.
